Getting exactly the pages you need

Whole-document PDFs are how files arrive; specific pages are what people actually need. A client wants pages 4–7 of the report, a portal wants just the signature page, a professor wants one chapter. Splitting copies the selected pages into a new file with their fonts, images, and quality intact — the extract is indistinguishable from the original pages.

Frequently asked questions

Do extracted pages lose quality?

No — pages are copied structurally, not re-rendered. Text stays selectable, images stay at original resolution, links keep working.

How do I split every page into its own file?

Leave all pages selected and click "Each page as its own PDF" — you'll get a ZIP with one numbered file per page.

Can I split a 500-page document?

Yes. Processing happens on your machine, so there's no server-imposed page cap — very long documents just take a little longer to render thumbnails.

What about password-protected PDFs?

Locked files can't be read by the splitter. Remove the password first (with the password you know), then split.
