How merging works

Pages are copied from each source PDF in the order you set, keeping their original size, fonts, images, and links. The merged file is assembled entirely in your browser — your documents are never uploaded to a server.

Combining files cleanly

  1. 1Drop in all your PDFs at once, or add them in batches — each shows a thumbnail of its first page and its page count.
  2. 2Drag the cards into the order the final document should read.
  3. 3Add more files at any point; remove any that don't belong.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a limit on the number of files?

No fixed limit — dozens of PDFs merge fine. Wall-clock time scales with total pages since everything runs locally.

Do different page sizes cause problems?

No. Each page keeps its own dimensions — an A4 page stays A4 next to a letter-size page. Viewers handle mixed sizes normally.

Will bookmarks and links survive?

Links within a page (like URLs) survive. Document-level bookmarks/outlines from the sources aren't carried into the merged file.

The merged file is too big to email — now what?

Run it through the Compress PDF tool; image-heavy merges typically shrink 60–90%. There's also a compress-to-target-size mode for hard caps.
